QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PICKUP

  

How do I get to the dock if I do not purchase hotel pick up for Cancun?
We will send you a map at the time you make your reservation showing your hotel and the departure point. You can take a cab or the bus from your Cancun hotel to the dock.

What time do you pick up in the Riviera Maya or Playa del Carmen?
Your pick up time will depend on your hotel and the time of day you selected to go.
If you are in Playa del Carmen the pick up will be an hour before your departure time, but we will put the exact time on your coupon when you reserves.
If you are in a Riviera Maya hotel your pickup will generally be 30 minutes to 1 hour before your scheduled departure time.
When you reserve you tell us the hotel and we will inform you of the pick-up time.

Is it possible to make a fly fishing or spin tackle fishing reservation when I get to Cancun?
Yes. We do recommend you make your fishing reservations as far in advance as possible so that you are sure to get a boat. During the high season from January to August there are many times we have no boats available 2-3 days in advance.
To reserve once you arrive in Cancun call us at 887-3414 or if you are outside Cancun call us at 01-998-887-3414.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel any fishing trip up to 24 hours before departure and only pay a 5% credit card processing fee. If the trip is cancelled because the port is closed then you will receive a 100% refund.

What are we likely to catch?
In the lagoon where we go you may catch baby Tarpon, Snook, Permit, Snapper, Bone Fish, Barracuda and Lady Fish or Skip Jack.

Do you provide the equipment?
Yes, if you are fly-fishing or spin tackle fishing we supply the equipment.

Can I bring my own equipment?
Absolutely, if you have a favorite rod, reel, lures and flies bring them.

Do I need wading equipment?
No. The boats are actually very shallow draft and the guide will pole you around so all fishing will actually be done from the boat.

What kind of pole, reels, line and flies for fly fishing should I bring if I want to bring my own?

What is the maximum number of people on the boat?
The boat is private or just for you and your party. The maximum on one boat is two fishermen. Our boats are small and if you are more than 2 fishermen you will need one boat for every 2 fisherman.
