Enter the sting ray lagoon to learn and touch these graceful creatures as they swim around and eat from your hand. The sting ray lagoon portion of the program last about 1 hour.

 

“Mermaid “(Manatee) Haven
Enter a waist-deep submerged platform and learn and touch and feed Manatees. These gentle giants of the sea, once thought of as Mermaids, will fascinate you and win your hearts. Discover why these slow moving mammals are endangered. The Manatee Haven portion of the program last about 1 hour.

 

Dolphin Cove
Enter a waist-deep submerged platform where you will learn about and interact with Dolphins. Have the opportunity to touch, kiss and play games with the agile dolphins. Then do the famous “foot push” where two Dolphins lift you out of the water and race you across the dolphin cove with their noses on the bottoms of your feet. A true rush and unforgettable experience. The Dolphin Cove portion of the program last 60 minute.

This is a 3 hours program.

How do I get from the cruise ship to the dolphin swim area?
When you arrive by cruise ship you will disembark and there will be 100 cabs waiting to take all cruise ship passengers to their destinations. You will take a cab to the Ferry Dock in Cozumel, buy an $11 USD one way ferry ticket and go to Playa del Carmen where you will be met by a Dolphin Activity Representative.Then you will board a van and take the short ride to Puerto Aventuras and the Dolphin activity area. Then once your sea-life activity is finished you will be returned to the Playa del Carmen ferry dock, buy an $11.00 USD ticket and return to Cozumel and your ship.

Can people that are not doing the dolphin activity watch?
Yes. There is a spectator area for people to watch the participants in the dolphin activities.

Do I need to be a good swimmer to do a activity swim?
While being a swimmer will give you a comfort level in the water it is not necessary. You will have on a life jacket the entire time you are in the water.

What about refunds if I decide to cancel a dolphin activity?
If you decide to cancel the sea life activity you can do so 24 hours before the service is to be rendered and only pay a 5% administrative fee. Less than 24 hours notice of cancellation is considered a “no show” and no refund is possible. How do I know you have space available?
If you reserve 7 to 10 days in advance you have a 99% chance we have space for you. We recommend you send in your reservation, complete with your credit card information, and if space is not available we will call or email you with when space is available. So be sure to include your phone number on your reservation form.

Is it possible to make a reservation when I get to the area?
We do recommend you make your reservations as far in advance as possible so that you are sure to get the trip when you want to go. During the high season from January to August there are many times we have no space available 2-3 days in advance. To make your reservation once you arrive in Cancun call us at 898-4312 or if you are outside Cancun (Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya) call us at 01-998-898-4312, and from the states 1-800-860-5917.

What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel any trip up to 24 hours before departure and only pay a 5% administrative processing fee.Click Here! To see all Cancellation and Change Policy.

Is the pricing on the website correct?
Yes. The prices are “accurate” and “complete” meaning that there are no additional charges. Our guarantee is that you will not pay more than that published price on our website.

I send in a reservation with my credit card and what happens?
Once you send a reservation we confirm that there is space available. Then we charge your card. We then put the confirmation number on a coupon or voucher and send it to you in an email. You print it and that is your paid receipt for the tour. You present the coupon at check in.

What happens if there is no space in the day or time I want?
If there is no space for the day and time you want we will not charge your card. We will call or email you immediately and make a recommendation as to when you may be able to do the event.

Should I send in my credit card with the reservation?
Yes, because you have a much better chance of getting the tour the less time that goes by before the departure. If there is no space available we will not charge your credit card but advise when the tour is available closest to the date you want. If you send in a reservation form without a credit card number inquiring about availability then we respond, simply more time passes giving the tour more time to fill up. Again once you are ready to reserve it is best to send your reservation with a credit card. Please remember no reservation is made until we have payment via your credit card or by other means.

How can I check the status of my reservation?
It is our objective that you know what is happening with your reservation. We will send you an update if we are going to be than 48 hours getting you a response. If 48 hours has gone by and you have gotten no update or coupon please call 1-800-860-5917 from the USA and Canada or +52-998-898-4312 from the rest of the world. If you are already in Cancun our local number is 898-4312 and if you are outside Cancun dial 01-998-898-4312.

Questions about arriving by cruise ship

We are arriving by cruise ship in Cozumel. Will we be able to take this tour?
Please check the arrival time and departure time of your ship. With that information you will be able decide if this tour is for you. Generally speaking this is the perfect tour for all cruise ship arrivals.

How do we get to the Dolphin Activity area from the Ship?

As cruise ships dock at different piers, the price to the Cozumel Ferry dock will be $5.00 USD.
Due to damage to the Cozumel Cruise ship piers many ships are sending passengers in by tender boat to the Cozumel Ferry Dock.

We are arriving by cruise ship in Playa del Carmen - Calica. Will we be able to take this tour?
If you arriving at Calica you will be able to do this activity.You will take a cab from the Calica dock to Puerto Aventuras.The price should be about $12.00 on way.Puerto Aventuras is a short 15 minute taxi ride away from Calica and you will have plenty of time to do your sea-life activity.

HOW TO DO A DOLPHIN ACTIVITY IN PUERTO AVENTURAS
WHEN ARRIVING IN COZUMEL BY CRUISE SHIP.

First: Check your ships itinerary and see if you have enough time to make the following time schedule work.
TIME NEEDED TO DO A DOLPHIN ACTIVITY IN PUERTO AVENTURAS
FROM COZUMEL (Minimum 4.5 hours Maximum 9.75 hrs)
MOST LIKELY TIME IS 8 HOURS
TIME NEEDED:
 ACTIVITY:
0–120 minutes
 Disembark your ship and get to shore by tender boat.
15–20 minutes
 Take a cab to the Ferry Dock in Cozumel.
5– 55 minutes
 Buy a $22.00 USD round trip ferry ticket per person from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen. Please note that the Ferrys leave EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR. So you must take the 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM Ferry and please note there is NO 11:00 AM ferry from Cozumel to Playa del Carmen.
35 – 50 minutes The actual ferry crossing time is 35 minutes.
15 – 30 minutes When you disembark at the Playa del Carmen Ferry Dock you will need to walk to the entrance of the Playacar Palace Hotel. It is the hotel immediately on your left as walk from the Ferry dock to the mainland. Walk up the walkway to the street intersection and go left to the entrance of the Playacar Palace hotel. There you will be met by a Dolphin representative and you will be taken by van to Puerto Aventuras for the Dolphin Activity.
15 – 30 minutes Travel time from Playa del Carmen to Puerto Aventuras where the actual dolphin activity takes place.
120 –145 minutes Time for the Dolphin Activity including changing clothes and orientation.
20 – 40 minutes Travel time from Puerto Aventuras to Playa del Carmen and arrive at the ferry dock.
35 – 90 minutes Time needed to return to Cozumel. Depending on when you return to
Playa del Carmen you could wait to board the ferry up to 55
minutes. REMEMBER the ferry leaves every hour on the hour.
15 – 20 minutes Take a cab to your cruise ship’s dock in Cozumel.
