We are coming
to Cozumel on a cruise ship how do we get there?
When you disembark from your cruise ship there will be 100
cabs waiting to take you to wherever you want to go on the
Island. Simply take a cab (4 passengers) or a van (8 passenger
van) and tell them you want to go to PlayaMia. All cab drivers
know where it is located. We also send a map when you reserve.
How much
does a cab costs?
All cab rides are priced one way and for up to 4 people, larger
vans are available but may be cost more.
>From the center of Cozumel (Ferry Dock) the cost is about:
$16
>From the International Pier the cost is about: $14
>From the Punta Langosta Pier the cost is about: $15
>From the Puerta Maya the cost is about $14
How far
is the Playamia from the cruise ship docks above?
- From the center
of Cozumel (Ferry Dock) to the Playa Mia is 20 kilometers
or 12.4 miles and will take about 20 minutes by cab.
- From the International
Pier to the Playa Mia is 20 kilometers or 12.4 miles and
will take about 14 minutes by cab.
- From the Punta
Langosta Pier to the Playa Mia is 21 kilometers or 13.3
miles and will take about 15 minutes by cab.
- From the Puerta
Maya to the Playa Mia is 14 kilometers or 8.5 miles and
will take about 12 minutes by cab.

How do I know you have space available?
Playamia is a huge park and there is space, no problem.
Do I need to buy my tickets in advance?
The advantage to buying your tickets in advance is that we
do our credit card charging in the U.S. (Texas.) If you pay
by credit card at the park entrance you will loose 3-5% in
“currency adjustment” fees charged by all credit
card companies. If you pay in cash again you will pay more
as the conversion from US dollars to pesos is never in your
favor.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel any activity up to 24 hours the activity and
only pay a 5% administrative processing fee. If the activity
is cancelled because weather then you will receive a 100%
refund.

Is the pricing on the website correct?
Yes. The prices are accurate and complete meaning that there
are no additional charges. Our guarantee is that you will
not pay more than that published price on our website.
I send in a reservation with my credit
card and what happens?
Once you send a reservation we charge your card then we assign
a confirmation number to a coupon and send it to you in an
email. You print it and that is your “paid receipt”
for the Playamia Park. You must present the coupon at the
entrance gate to PlayaMia for admission to the park.
Should I send in my credit card with
the reservation?
Yes once you are ready to reserve it is best to send your
reservation with a credit card so we can get it reserved for
you. Please remember no reservation is made until we have
payment via your credit card.
How can I check the status of my reservation?
It is our objective that you know what is happening with your
reservation. We will send you an update if we are going to
be than 48 hours getting you a response. If 48 hours has gone
by and you have gotten no update or coupon please call 1-800-860-5917
from the USA and Canada or +52-998-898-4312 from the rest
of the world. If you are already in Cozumel our number in
Cancun is 01-998-898-4312.

Do you have long distance telephones
available?
Yes you can make calls back to the U.S. from the Playamia.
Do you have lifeguards for the beach
and the pool?
Yes lifeguards are located on the beach from opening at 9:00
AM until closing at 6:00 PM.
There is even a rescue boat available which can be dispatched
very quickly.
Is Playamia Beach Park Ok for children?
Yes children of all ages will absolutely love it. Your kids
will be sad when it is time leave to leave.
Where do we go snorkeling?
You can snorkel in front of the Playamia park, but the best
snorkeling is from a boat on the snorkeling trips where there
is an extra charge.
Who should not go on the Playamia Beach
Park?
This place is “magical” and a fun time will be
had by all regardless of age or physical condition. You should
not go it you don’t want to have a fabulous day.
What are the hours of operation?
The Playamia opens at 9:00 AM and closes at 6:00 PM.
Can you accommodate groups?
Yes we can accommodate groups up to 2000 people. If you have
a group of over 50 people and would like something special
either during the day or a special event at night just let
us know and we will be happy to show you the various options
for groups.
How much are towels?
Towels are available for rent for $5.00 USD per day. (Price
is valid as of June 30, 2008 and subject to change without
notice.)
Do you have lockers for my valuables?
Yes lockers are available for $5.00 USD per day.
Do you have beach umbrellas for rent?
Yes beach umbrellas, for the sun, are available for $5 USD
per day.
Do you have long distance telephones
available?
Yes you can make calls back to the U.S. from the Playamia.
Is the facility wheelchair accessible?
Yes Playamia has ramps and is wheelchair accessible.
Is medical assistance available?
Yes Playamia has emergency medical services available. There
is even an ambulance on site at Playamia.
We have a rent a car is there parking?
Yes there is plenty of free parking.
We wanted to do some shopping. Do you
have shopping?
Yes there is a nice “souvenir shopping area” as
you enter the PlayaMia Beach Park with most everything you
will find in the center of Cozumel.
Do you have Internet available for
checking emails?
Yes there Internet available for a nominal additional fee
once you are in side the park.
Do you have ATM machines?
Yes there is an ATM machine located inside the Playamia in
the restaurant area for your convenience.
